The high-scoring forward twice recorded 50 goals while also notching 100 points six times in his career. Well decorated, he won the Conn Smythe Trophy in 1996 and the Hart Trophy in 2001, while leading Canada to Olymic gold in 2002 as Tournament MVP. Sakic retired as the 8th highest scorer in NHL history with 1,641 points, while sitting 14th with 625 goals and 11th with 1,016 assists. He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in 2012.
