*PRE-ORDER* NHL Legends | Hockey Hall of Fame Puck | Pekka Rinne

Pekka Rinne is one of the greatest Finnish-born goaltenders in NHL history, spending his entire 15-season career with the Nashville Predators. Selected 258th overall in the 2004 NHL Draft, he became the franchise’s all-time leader in goaltender games played (683), wins (369) and shutouts (60).

Rinne helped lead Nashville to its first Stanley Cup Final in 2017 and the Presidents’ Trophy in 2018. His outstanding 2017-18 season earned him the Vezina Trophy as the NHL’s top goaltender. A four-time NHL All-Star, he also received the King Clancy Memorial Trophy in 2021 for his leadership and charitable contributions. In 2020, he became just the 12th goaltender in NHL history to score a goal.

Internationally, Rinne represented Finland at four IIHF World Championships, earning tournament MVP honours in 2014 and Best Goaltender recognition in 2015.

In recognition of his remarkable career and contributions to the Nashville Predators, Rinne became the first player in franchise history to have his jersey number (35) retired in 2022. A statue honouring him was unveiled in 2023, and he continues to contribute to the organization as a European Development Coach and Scout.

Rinne was inducted into the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame in 2024 and the Hockey Hall of Fame in the Player Category in 2026.
