Mike Bossy of the New York Islanders was the first NHL player to score 50 goals in his rookie season, finishing with 53 and winning the Calder Trophy. In 1980-81 he became only the second player in league history to score 50 goals in 50 games. He went on to score more than 50 goals in each of his first nine NHL seasons. He played on four Stanley Cup winners and was a three time winner of the Lady Byng Trophy.
This black & white acrylic plaque features a hand-drawn photo of Bossy and background history in both English and French. Four chrome-plated pins add both style and function, holding the piece up to display on a table-top. The piece comes in a protective presentation box to minimize breakage and increase the lifespan of your product.
