Legends of Hockey | Collectors Card | Darryl Sittler

Darryl Sittler is best remembered as a very steady and reliable mainstay for the Toronto Maple Leafs throughout the 1970's. He spent the better part of 12 seasons with the Leafs. At the time of his retirement he ranked as Toronto's all time highest goal scorer, second best in the assists and seventh on the all time games played list. Sittler was also the first Maple Leaf to reach 100 points in a season. Although he never played on a Stanley Cup Champion team, Darryl was a productive player in the playoffs, scoring 29 goals and in 76 career playoff games. He was also named first and second All-Star teams in his career. His greatest game occurred Feb 7 1976 when he had 6 goals and 10 points in a game against the Boston Bruins.
