Elevate your Detroit Red Wing's Memorabilia collection with the Jack Adams Collectors Card Print!

Jack Adams was a key figure throughout the founding period of the National Hockey League. An outstanding player in his own right, Adams played on Stanley Cup winning teams in both Toronto and Ottawa. However, his chief contributions to the sport came about after his playing career ended. In 1927 Jack was hired on by the Detroit organization as a manager-coach. There, he sold hockey to Detroit and developed the farm system as a talent pool for the NHL. He stayed with the Red Wings for the next 35 years. During that time, the Wings made the playoffs 28 times, won 12 league championships and also won 7 Stanley Cups. It was the golden age of hockey in Detroit with all-time playing legends such as Howe, Abel, Lindsay and Sawchuk. For these accomplishments, Adams was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1959.
