Blessed with a rare combination of exceptional defensive prowess and magical offensive creativity, Pavel Datsyuk used his talents to craft a 26-year professional career in the NHL and Russia. Spending 14 seasons with the Detroit Red Wings, he won two Stanley Cup titles in 2002 and 2008, while being just the second player in NHL history to win three consecutive Selke Trophies and four consecutive Lady Byng Memorial Trophies. A member of the IIHF’s Triple Gold Club, Datsyuk won an Olympic gold medal in 2018, a World Championship gold medal in 2012 and was named Tournament Best Forward at the 2010 World Championship.
