Named a 1^st team All-Star that year, he was twice named a 2^nd Team All-Star during his 19-year career and would help lead the Pittsburgh Penguins to consecutive Stanley Cup titles in 1991 and 1992. Holding numerous Penguins’ career goaltending records at retirement, Barrasso is the NHL’s all-time leader for goaltenders with 48 career assists and finished with 369 career victories.
