Add a piece of history to your hockey collection with this Lord Stanley Preston frame!

Lord Stanley of Preston was the Governor General of Canada from 1888 to 1893. In his final year in office, he donated a trophy to the championship hockey club in Canada. That trophy later became known as the Stanley Cup! The trophy was initially awarded to amateur teams, but later became a symbol of professional hockey supremacy. Stanley was honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1945 as an “honored builder”.

This black & white image features a photo of Lord Stanley and a background history in both English and French. The image is complete with black & white faux matting. The print is framed by a 14” x 18” x ¾ high-quality MDF black frame with a glass front panel. The frame comes equipped with pre-mounted hooks so it is conveniently ready-to-hang. The piece ships with a protective acrylic cover to minimize breakage and increase the lifespan of your product.
