Add a piece of history to your hockey collection with this Alexander Mogilny Plaque!

Alexander Mogilny's NHL story is defined by being the first player to defect from the Soviet Union to play in the league, a pioneering move that required a high-risk defection in 1989. He became a dominant force in the NHL, leading the league in goals in the 1992-93 season with 76 goals and achieving over 1,000 career points before winning a Stanley Cup with the New Jersey Devils in 2000. His career also included numerous firsts for a Russian player in the NHL.

  • "Quadruple Gold Club":
Mogilny is one of only 12 players in history to achieve membership in the "Quadruple Gold Club," having won gold medals at the World Junior Championships, World Championships, the Olympics, and the Stanley Cup.
  • Goal-scoring leader:
Mogilny was the first non-North American player to lead the NHL in goals, tying with Teemu Selanne in the 1992-93 season with 76 goals. This was one of only seven times a player has scored more than 70 goals in a season.
